Meet the Nominees for the Mesquite Chamber Board of Directors
The Mesquite Chamber's nominating committee has selected four nominees for the Board of Directors. Voting is open from Thursday, November 5 through Monday, November 16, at 5 pm. Those elected will serve three-year terms beginning January 1, 2027.
HOW THE NOMINEES WERE CHOSEN
Our board is built to mirror our membership. The nominating committee sorts our 285+ member businesses into their main industries and looks at what share of the board each industry should hold. That keeps the board representative of the businesses we serve and helps us find strong leaders from every corner of Mesquite's business community. This year's slate brings in voices from the skilled trades, healthcare and manufacturing, including a seat for construction, one of our growing industries.
THE NOMINEES
Jaime Hall, Manager, Admin and Community Relations, Mesquite Modules
Jaime oversees administration and community relations at Mesquite Modules, the solar module manufacturing plant on Skyline Drive and one of Mesquite's newest and largest employers.
Dr. RJ Loera, DDS, Owner, Town East Dental Group
Dr. Loera leads Town East Dental Group, a family dental practice on North Town East Boulevard that has served Mesquite since 2018. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry.
Eddie Nichols, Owner, 5th Generation Electric
Eddie is a Master Electrician and owner of 5th Generation Electric, a Mesquite-based electrical contractor serving homes and businesses across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Rolanda Williams-Freeney, Owner, VALIANT Behavioral Healthcare Services
Rolanda leads VALIANT Behavioral Healthcare Services, a Mesquite outpatient behavioral health provider offering in-person and telehealth care for patients from age 3 and up.
HOW VOTING WORKS
- Each member business gets one vote. The ballot is emailed only to each member's primary contact, not to everyone at the company.
- The ballot includes a write-in option.
- Voting closes Monday, November 16, at 5 pm.
